Option Missing and an idea
My company buys the PCs/Laptops with no OS, then blow in either XP or Linux (Monta Vista Flavor). That said, here is an idea for you. You obviously have a bunch of windows machine, which means you have licenses, so why not install a flavor of Linux you like, then download the free VMPlayer, build your own virtual XP machine, and get the best of both worlds.

1) You move them onto a current OS
2) They can run any application they are used to through Virtualized XP
3) Even if it goes over like a lead balloon, you get to play with and become familiar with more toys. grin
