The OLPC program sure has got the debates going about the utility of one
computer for every student. It evened spawned the complimentary Classmate PC by Intel. One thing is for sure, we ARE going to have lots more options for schools that want to try out the idea of one computer per student.

I think the Safebook is to expensive. I would like to see something similar to the OLPC, but with a bigger screen and more RAM and Flash, for older students, for say $300-350. The price tag for the Safebook is just too much if you ask me. And, could'nt the design of the OLPC be adapted for older computer users???
