Suse's OK. I guess.
If you're satisfied with OK. I have never been. Tried them several times, beginning with 6.2, and it has never been better than just 'OK'. The best I have found so far is PCLinuxos2007. A very good distro for the newb with all of the underpinnings any Linux guru could ask for. Alt Jr.(plum), is another excellent distro that is a bit better than Suse. Neither Suse or Ubuntu are as good as they could be or should be.
