Has Novel resolved issues with YaST in SUSE?
I have used SuSE for a few versions and dropped it (well not quite, but I preferr Ubuntu) for simple reasons:

1. YaST does not help with installation of RPMs that are not specific for SUSE. And no running their script manually does not resolve issues.

2. Since when update in Yast is supposed to overwrite screen driver that was custom installed (actully even compiled) because NVidia for example does not allow Linux distributors to distribute their advanced drivers with OS? Novel has to take this into consideration and Yast should recognize it and then ask question for optional overwrite rather than harshly wipe out something that was painful enough to do for user (you have to figure out SaX compilation process in textual screen mode and a few other things that are extrememly user unfriendly!)
