Expensive and dangerious
We've purchased 3 of these things over the years and they all have one thing in common: They are designed to charge the computers while in the cart. Of course, that seems like a great idea! Have you read about exploding laptop batteries? Laptops in general get hot enough to cook on. Imagine putting 30 or so in a steel cabinet and watching your $50,000 laptop investment cook itself to death. The alternative to charging in the cabinet is removing the batteries and charging them in a special battery refresher. Plan on spending lots of cash on that. The model we have for our Dell D620's handles 6 batteries and cost over $2500. It's just such a niche market, the cost is enormous. It would be nice to see Dell, HP or Apple put some $$ into making a cabinet that solved these problems, but I've not found one so far.
