I have XP Pro in suspended mode and have iconified it on the KDE start bar--on demand loads in 3 seconds.
From home I can only reach work thru a Juniper Activex based SSL portal, which requires IE SP2 (Firefox not supported--bummer).
What's more, you can move the vmx files around at will to different locations, e.g. my external WD MyBook or just to make a backup--just don't run from two locations at the same time and you won't be violating your EULA.
