If Dell really does start selling Ubuntu ...
... aggressively on pre-loaded mid-range systems, things COULD get interesting. Competition is good for everybody (including Microsoft). It creates incentive for vendors to innovate -- and to lower their prices. Let's hope to see some REAL movement in this arena.

I'd bet that we would be a new side to Microsoft if they suddenly had to compete for the destop as well as the enterprise machine room.
