"The motivation to achieve"? Garbage.
People are seeing offshoring and what it is truly doing. That alone would drive far more competent people than I to suicide.

http://alum.mit.edu/ne/whatmatters/200408/index.html addresses this "motivation to achieve" problem, and others that should scare the nimrods at (a competing website) who say it's anti-american to be against offshoring...

While my response is myopic, it is also true that there are many facets to the problems of our society today. And sometimes, little issues like offshoring are treated as if they aren't a problem. Sorry, they are.
