Why would your DNS servers be "sweating"?
DNS is a lightweight protocol that is efficiently distributed, and can be run on a cheap PC too old for anyone... even a school... to seriously use. I've had the local school refuse to take *as donations* computers that are more than powerful enough to provide a caching or secondary server for a thousand clients... desktops, laptops, or whatever.

Microsoft's already had far more impact to the DNS infrastructure with all the extra DNS requests that Active Directory makes as it looks for "domain" services than IPv6 ever will. If you're worried, pull a P100 or 486 from the trash before it goes into the dumpster and stick a copy of FreeBSD or Linux on it.
