100% of Vista drivers have worked so far
When something didn't have a Windows 7 driver, I used the Vista driver and it worked just fine.

I agree 100% with your blog Ed, Windows 7 is being released into a totally different environment than Vista was released into.

That, and I think people hated the extra security of Vista but have gotten used to it over the last 3 years and have come to realize that, like locking your front door which can sometimes be a pain (especially if you lose your key), it is necessary for your protection. The people I know who switched from Vista to OS X (and later switched back) found that Cancel or Allow was far more friendly than having to type in their password every time they wanted to change anything.

So, like I said, Windows 7 could be Vista with a new name *cough* Mojave *cough* and it would still not be "another Vista" if only because the environment it was released into is drastically different.
