Except totally ignoring IE8's capabilities, good post
Seriously. IE8 supports correct CSS 2 implementations, without previous IE hacks ("fixing" improper stuff for you behind the scenes). After some complaints in development, it supports ACID standards.

I don't know why I'm even bothering feeding the trolls, but eh. Since you're 100% wrong, I figured I'd say something. IE8 supports the 'standard web' and good coding from web designers; it's the least hacked-together IE to date, which will be a blessing. Less post-work running pages through different browsers and catching the differences...
