Windows ME eh?
"The only OS I've used that even my knowledge and
maintenance couldn't seem to keep working was Windows
ME - God help the non-techy home users who bought a
computer pre-installed with it!"
I've seen thousands of computers running ME that were working just fine, and by the way there are still an incredible number of computers still running with ME. The biggest problem with ME was it's inherited Windows 98 core. When you consider the short length of time it was out, never given the time to be given the patches like XP has had, it's amazing how well it worked. But there were lots of people who messed up their ME installation by either upgrading their Windows 98 or running a bunch of half baked junk games and then came running to the tech guys to fix it. Their are always stupid people who can mess up anything.
