I rebuild more often than most, so...
5 internet activations? Lets see, then, that's a little more than a year's worth of service. I often find myself reinstalling the Windows partition quarterly (4 times/year) because it gets sluggish or corrupted. Often it is faster to just reinstall the OS than to waste the time to try to fix Windows.

Please don't get me wrong here, I'm not blaming MS. My system needs to be reinstalled because I load lots of evaluation software and some of it is less-than-perfect. I also write lots of code on it. Not being perfect myself (and I wish I was, but hey, I'm only human and all that) occasionally my code does something it wasn't meant to and *bang* BSOD.

So I have Solaris x86, RHEL, and Windows operating system partitions which I rebuild quite often by general user standards.

At work we have a MSDN account, but I'm thinking that Technet option is looking good for use around the house happy
