Vista boot faster than xp, like a vista horse races with a xp turle ^^. even In my Vista system I set up so manything such as SQL Server, Studio dotnet 2005, IIS for web server, and so many games, ect software for web graphics.
I'm using Visa after 5 months, it's still work very good. With xp, you might make a clean install after 5-6 months. VISTA is the number 1 OS, i've ever know in my life.
