You lost me on that one.
It never fails to amaze me with the computer tech heads who just don't get real life. For 95% of the world a computer is just a tool, a complex tool albeit, but a tool like a shovel or toaster. For 95% of the world if you start whining about how stupid they are because they don't know all the ins and outs of the important technical factors of how their toaster works or what goes into making a really great shovel, they are going to tell you to get a life: areal life. Not one that revolves around your self esteem being tied directly to the quality of your toaster or how big your shovel is.

I do understand why some people have a great interest in computers, both as hobby and as a job, but I also know that its also good to keep it real, and the fact that most people do not care about the deeper inner workings of their tools doesn't make them stupid. Some of them feel the same way about cars, and they would say if you don't know what they know about a vehicle and do everything they do then you are the tool shed, not them. Some know about exercise and nutrition, and think you are a lazy ass and an absolute fool if you don't do what they do. Others have hobbies and jobs and many things that make them far more knowledgeable in areas of life they consider to be far far more important then computers; which is just a tool to them. Turn on the switch and it should just work. Anything more then that and top them;your the fool.

Who's right. I suggest that anyone who fails to understand reality and others interests and disinterests is the fool, no matter what they know about.
