WGA - The Giant Killer
Microsoft did us all a favor with WGA. It is making everyone look at viable alternatives. As soon as there is a Linux Quickbooks, I am switched. Microsoft forgot they are here to serve the customer, not to have the customer serve them.

As for the crash in the story, the only fault lies with Microsoft. Software developers should not have to continually modify sound, existing programs for the continual changes Microsoft implements through their whims. Compatibility should be the responsibility of the OS vendor.
