- There are two issues involved here

One is the reality of Patchou's software, which is questionable at best.
Even more important is the perception. This is a PR disaster for Microsoft and it's also a breakdown in its vetting process for MVPs. It took me less than five minutes with Windows Live Search to find the nexus between unhappy MVPs and Patchou's product.
