here's a better idea for you
Take an economics course on supply and demand, price your product at
the minimum markup required for sustained profitability, and if it
doesn't meet sales expectations realize that sufficient demand simply
may not exist for your product for it to be a viable commercial success.

Apparently, people have been pretty effectively indoctrinated into
thinking that market economics is socialism and socialism is market
economics that they don't even comprehend that the only way for you to
be financially successful is to discover the best interests of your
customer and do everything you can to meet them.
