... no.

Lawyers are STILL not net-savvy. They (and many companies) have yet to learn that the dissemination of information is nearly unstoppable - perhaps completely unstoppable - once it hits the net.

Doom 9 in London also list the codes - how will the AACS tackle that problem? Admittedly the US and UK are "close" in legislative terms and have many treaties, but what about the US and Brazil, or Cuba,or France? etc. etc.

Their scheme is doomed. It may take time to realise that but their options are

1) Give up
2) Start a new scheme

There is no option called "Forbid people to talk about this" and if that option ever comes to pass then DVD and content encryption will be the least of our worries.
