Very Well Put
The subversion of civil liberties by our current President is disgusting.

As part of a speech, I'd written:

"As Americans, we the people need to decide which is more precious to us; do we fight for the ideals of our Democracy, of our Republic, and of our Constitution...or are we willing to watch those truths and values slip away for the sake of individual, self-preservation?"

In other words, all the men and women who fought bravely to defend our democracy, did so for our country and ALL her people. 1 death or 3000 or 100,000 were a fair price to pay to keep us free. 9/11 was a tragedy, but will we allow that event to scare us into being no longer free, and as this blog put it "a police state?" I hope not, for then there won't be a USA worth defending.
