I'm sure all of them are great, each for their own reasons.
I still have my original Playstation and I consider it to be one of the products I have gotten the greatest dollar per use value in my life. What the original Playstation did for console gaming when it came out is one of the big events in gaming, probably only exceeded by the introduction of the first original Atari consoles and the introduction of the first Nintendo gaming systems.

But when it comes to what I would purchase today if I was going out to buy something tomorrow? The XBox 360 wins out by a fair margin. Its largely a question of cost. All the systems are fairly pricey, but the new Playstation 3 is a device thats pushing the outer limits for what should even be reasonably asked for a gaming console.

Maybe if I had a lot more money then I could figure out what to do with I might give the Playstation 3 a go, but I already have seen what a great unit the XBox 360 is, and its pretty hard to justify the extra cash unless someone can show me how the Playstation is surprisingly better. And from what I have seen so far, its a fine machine no doubt about that, but its not worth anything significantly more then an XBox 360.

As far as the Wii goes, I admire what they are trying to do, and if that form of gaming is what catches your interest then the Wii is the only game in town for you. But I still am not too excited by the new gaming style of the Wii so my hard earned bucks go to the XBox 360 on this call.
