Price it right and they will come.
There are loads of affordable software out there. There's simply no reason to break deplete your bank account to have decent, reliable programs.

One of my favorite affordable programs is Textpad. I think it's a stand-out product and very affordable. Trillian is another example that's well worth the modest price. And WordWeb just rocks.

By all means, I think people should use decent tools for their livelihood, and should be prepared to spend decent money for them. But for casual use... shop around, guys! There's some really good stuff out there at bargain prices!
