Norton and SBC DSL
So I'm sitting at home surfing the web and I'm trying to download Office 2007 from work. The file is about 400MB but I've got SBC (AT&T) DSL, right? After about 3 minutes of downloading, my connection would drop. I continued down this road about a dozen times but never got the file downloaded.

After a few weeks of trying to figure it out on my own, I called SBC DSL Support. The guy I spoke to was very helpful and informed me that Norton Anti-virus and some other Norton utilities can cause connection problems. Okay, now what? The guy simply suggested I uninstall Norton and use something else.

Does anyone else find this odd? No fixes are available as of 9/29/2007, which is also odd. What the heck is going on?

Just my 3 cents...
