Could Twitter become the next PayPal?

Authentication already built in: Twitter already has *some* security measures when syncing up an account with SMS or an IM client. But yes it would need to a serious focus for mobile payments to be viable. Of course, the whole idea is based on the assumption that Twitter *will* fix its reliability issues.
