Sorry but I can't help but think your analysis is a little simplistic. If LinkedIn were completely stagnant then maybe you'd be correct but you ignore the fact that LinkedIn have significant opportunities that they could leverage if they saw fit.

There's a whole world of value add that Facebook hasn't "got" yet and that LinkedIn is potentially poised to utilise
