I agree with you in principle but if you want to make an informed purchase and get to really know what is under the hood of Vista and if it has the compelling something that makes the upgrade worthwhile how do you do it? As a tablet user I am interested in the potential of the upgraded functionality. I have read many blog entries, comments etc but I don't yet feel 'informed' and sense that I am about to gamble on Vista rather than purchase it.
