That's nothing, youngster. I remember using 1.5MBy removable RK05 disks on a PDP-11/45 in the 1970's. Big configurations had more than one drive. Each drive unit was 19" rack wide, 10.5" high. Control electronics were many modules plugged into wirewrap backplanes. Many thousands of 1970 dollars purchased new. Makes me glad for today's disk drives.
