Thank you...
One thing that I've noticed is that there are people out there that like to throw in their $0.02 worth without ever having trying to start a company.

I've been working on my software service for quite a while now and when it is ready, only then will I release it out to the public through a website and other avenues. But, because of this, nobody really sees any of the "prep" work and research involved in getting it ready for public consumption. There's a lot more to running a software company than just writing the software, as you obviously know.

What I hate most is the "quick to discourage" statements from people who have never tried and who have no clue.

For example, a few weeks ago, I was talking to a guy at work and mentioned the software service project that I'd like to release sometime soon. He is not very computer of business savvy, but of course he had to chime in with, "Oh, that will never work, amlost everything is written for, or on the Internet already. I wouldn't bother."

Aargh! Anyways... my point is that mental preparedness is, I believe, also an important factor to shrugging off and bypassing comments like this.

Thanks for the article.
