One ring to rule them all
I talk about 11g here
http://www.soacenter.com/?p=188

My analysis of the Oracle 11g launch is

1) The Chuck Phillips "One Technology Stack to simplify IT" is a completely faulty premise

2) The hardest part of integrating BEA is the Metadata Repository, which they punted on. Contrast to Software AG Centrasite at the core of webMethods 8

3) No SOA Governance story, or at least a weak one.

4) The terabyte scale Tangosol cacheing is awesome, congratulations to that team, the only part of 11g that "goes up to 11".

My 2 cents,
Miko
