XaaS Frees Up Enterprises and Developers
When we launched our ERP system "as a service" back in 2001, the impact on our organization and on our customers was overwhelming. The sales process, implementations, training, support and customization were all a fraction of what was previously incurred, and staff on both sides of the relationship were freed up to concentrate on their core business.

Building on both your comments Dana, and those by Rourke McNamara, we found that companies that embraced the "as a service" model, were able to identify the IT staff that truly understands their core business, and to begin using those process oriented thinkers to break existing bottlenecks, mentor non-IT staff, help the organization optimize its workflow, and to grow the value they delivered to their own customers. Innovation at its best.
