Do you think this recent announcement is indicative of a trend toward registry/
repositories that are tailored toward a particular platform, with "checkbox"
support for registry/repository federation and/or interoperability? Let's face it,
probably all of the ESBs, WSMs, and XML gateways all have some internal
repository for their policy information. With recent acquisitions, as well as
announcements like IBM's WebSphere Registry/Repository, is it realistic to think
that people will buy standalone registry/repository products, or whether it will be
a value-add to some other purchase associated with SOA?
