Sounds nitpicky
I don't think Mr. Schmidt had time to include all types of disclaimers or footnotes to his predictions, it wasn't a research paper as far as I know. I can apply the same type of nitpicking to your writing.

For example, citing "teenagers" is simply a easy way to describe a demographic that everyone knows about. I suppose he should have said "technologically savvy forty-somethings" instead? Or included a disclaimer that "some people other than teenagers understand this model?"

As for revolutionary predictions - I assure you if there's something revolutionary out there that Google can be 1st (or early) mover on - Mr. Schmidt is *NOT* throwing that out in a prediction quip. Take this stuff for entertainment value, and maybe a trifle of insight, not tablets carved from stone by the heavens.
