Can you teach programmers?

All programmers need an understanding of the business solution they're designing and building. Successful projects are those where the customers want to use the software because it takes their wants, needs, & desires into account. We can't code George Jetson's "do my job" button, but we can sit with journalists and learn what they need from our code.
