It's like the mob
A while ago, there was a "government inquiry" into Ticketmaster and their practices. The newspapers read like it was the mob against the government. And the inquiry just went away. Without government proactively acting to protect us, we are at the mercy of big, greedy business.

Have you written to your congressmen lately about problems you are seeing? If not, then you are part of the problem, and complaining about it is pointless. Congressmen (at both the state and local levels) have Web sites that sending them your comments is easy!

There is an old saying, "You get the government you deserve." I what we have today is indeed what we deserve, then we need to radically change what we are doing.
