Duh. Data theft is easier than ever before.
I used to work in a facility where you surrendered every electronic item at the gate. When inside, you picked up your laptop and in-house cellphone and went to work. No iPhones or Blackberries, no USB sticks, nothing. Our laptops had some effective (if low tech) security measures: the USB and memory card ports were filled with epoxy cement. But data still got stolen on occasion.

But every day security gets worse. High-capacity storage devices get smaller, and you can't plug every WIFI, Bluetooth, USB, and optical hole, the systems become almost unusable. So what do you do?

Training, culture, and enforcement. It all comes down to people, not the technology.
