Anonymity is impossible to avoid
How exactly does he propose that posters be identified? If you can create an account with any name then you might just as well be anonymous. If you "have to use your name" - how if I may ask are you going to make that happen?

Fact is that away from our computers, we may still engage in more interactions with people that are conducted anonymously than those where we know the other. Do you know the cashier at Wal-Mart? The bus driver? The guy in the elevator? We probably spend the majority of our time with those we know, but we have plenty of interaction anonymously, on and offline.
