Compelling ??? Really ???
Last I checked, it's called "impulse control". To be honest, I can't say there's any significant amount of online content that is sufficiently compelling that I need to deal with it instead of other things due solely to it's level of interest. There's an awful lot of content, but if you really stop and think about it, the vast majority of it is drivel, and you just don't really need it. I always ask myself one and only one question if there's any doubt: is it important enough that I really NEED to know about it, or is it more likely I would just LIKE to know. If it's the latter, I may or may not save a link to it that I can go back to when I have more time. Otherwise, it gets a pass.
