This is an opportunity to go and create something which would literally reshape the future of society... and the GPL has been accepted into other parts of the world, besides the US, so this maneouver would create a VERY positive effect world over...
It would also force governments to either change the legal "playground" with regards to profit/non-profit organizations, or accept that it was changed for them.
