- AMD stock price up almost 6% on July 28th

AMD's recent actions may be puzzleing ot us outsiders, but somebody knows something and those somebodies are buying AMD stock.
If I had to guess, I would say it has to do with new products in the Opteron line of multi-core processors. This is the most profitable market segment and I have heard that the Opteron scales more gracefully than the Intel Woodcrest.
