Could new Google Docs be interface for GDrive?

Love to see GDrive implemented,: and I agree with Garrett that the coming Google Docs interface overhaul represents a perfect opportunity to launch the former. But let me say here that if Google Docs is to compete on a future online office-suite market, the way in which footnotes are (mis)handled will have to be greatly improved....
