The only thing Android is really up against is Apple. Apple's
penchant for keeping their boxes and software closed will
impact it's flexibility.

Android as I understand it, is open source. If that is true,
applications for it should explode. When that happens it will
be game over for Apple. (Well, not OVER, maybe just greatly
reduced. They will probably keep a certain market share.)
