You don't need a gmail account to have igoogle. What
you need is to have a google account(there's a small
difference)
The don't search for gmail accounts only. I got a
list of Hotmail and Yahoo emails of friends who had
igoogle (I guess they used it as their secondary email
account or maybe they have those accounts as an ailas
in gmail)
I don't see thay will start charging for this in the
feature...
