Plenty of beneficiaries...
The list of Google beneficiaries will be long and varied.

Everyone from the US Government -- particularly homeland security -- who has a very great interest in what you download, the videos you watch and your general 'anti-american' interests -- to the advertisers who will now get an even more complete profile on you (and who are happy to pay for it).

As you may have heard, Google has ALREADY provided very useful information about browsing and search habits to support criminal cases. What you may NOT be aware of is the new DHS directives that say reasonable suspicion and warrants are no longer needed -- if you don't believe it, ask some business travellers who've had their computers, mobile phones and flash cards taken at the border.

As well, anyone who can pay can have the information -- perhaps it will now be worth some SERIOUS money to the tertiary interests like insurance companies who will find your cancer research or "how to beat a DUI" searches interesting (and very profitable) come your next policy renewal.

Who needs to install a pesky Google Toolbar to collect or simply searches on Google properties to collect this valuable information when Google can own the WHOLE browser (and ALL information -- even encrypted data -- passing through it)! A stroke of GENIUS for the criminal mind.

Does nobody else find this turn DISTURBING?
