Microsoft must stop wasting its money and its efforts running after Google

I think that it is much more important for Microsoft to drastically improve Windows and fix all the current and upcoming problems it has.
Currently the last version of Windows is from far the most ressources hungry among all recent O.S and is unable to run efficiently or at all on PC such as netbooks.
Moreover solutions such as the Asus Express Gate could represent a significant threat for the Windows market share .
I wouldn't be surpised if this kind of solutions become more and more powerful and enable an ever growing number of customers to not need a complete O.S at all.

So i think that instead of spreading their money and their efforts on ever growing number of fronts, Microsoft should first focus on strongly improving Windows.

And who know, perhaps by strongly improving Windows they could enable a seemless integration with the cloud, thus providing with the solid fundation they need to efficiently compete in the cloud computing market.
