Reputation has 100% American bias for now
I created a Knol today, but was unable to verify myself, as I don't live in the USA. For the moment, even though I have Gmail, amd on orkut, use Adsense and Google Reader, Google can not verify me on Knol.

It's early days, but this is a big omission - not even OpenID is supported. I made comment on The Next Web at http://thenextweb.org/2008/07/24/for-whom-the-google-knols/ earlier today.
