Not to mention redundancy.
When Google launched their open-phone-platform hype, nobody mentioned or asked them about the fact that we already had an open phone platform: OpenMoko.

Maybe it's inferior. Maybe it isn't. But we have all been failed by tech "journalists" who never brought it up for comparison, and Google who never addressed it either.

People just get dumber.
