Non-starter
The only reason we need Google-this, or hosted-that is because applications are so irritaing and cumbersome.

I think the portable-app movement will make this a non-starter. You can carry around an 8 gig pen drive with your key applications and data, and just plug it in without having to install *anything*. Add an encryption tool and you are all set to run a presentation anywhere.

There might be a niche where sharing is a key requirement, but it's usually a guy in a room with 10 people.

Seems like a tough sell to me...
