the whole rating systems is gonna change anyway.

The new metric is gonna be based on 'time on site' vs views (although what about going to a page and then just living it open in the browser...)

When it goes in effect, I know several sites that make it their job to push out tons of posts everyday for traffic are dive in whatever rating they have now, because people just go there for the one link, and then leave.

ie, there are 3-4 sites that I see everyday that push tons of posts out - what do I do when I see a new one in my Reader? Open there page, click the link, and close their tab. Time on site? One second. But hey, that's how they designed it. They just want the traffic. Thing is, it ain't gonna be worth crap in a little bit...
