Google Maps gets real time traffic information

Google Maps Traffic?

I saw soemthing on Discovery Channel saying in Sweeden, they use people's cell phones to track and determine traffic speeds and congestion. They said that it works our really well considering they have an adequate sample size, and all information from users is annonymous. Not sure if Google is using this technology, but it sure seems cool.

Anyways, supposedly this feathure has been available for GMM for a while now - - - - unfortunelaty i'm a tool and can't install this app on my Rogers d807x phone
