We rely on documents because we use language and visuals. We think using language. We relate concepts using language. And since we often use written language, our medium for transmitting and absorbing information the <ocument.

Is there a way to transcend language? Should we want such a way?

Language is the rationalizing, structure-imposing medium through which we filter our thoughts. Ity exists because we are rational beings. If ti is removed -- or mediated away -- will it result in a situation that we will find favorable?
